Another case of unjustified, unprovoked, straight up and down stupid, retarded, scared and pre-meditated police brutality. All of the cases arising reek of pure injustice as the police who's job is to protect and serve now take on roles of the people they are "trying to take down". It is NOT A GAME...these cops are killing people and getting away with it (i.e. Sean Bell R.I.P., Khiel Coppin R.I.P., Amadou Diallo R.I.P., and countless others as the list could go for PAGES)...Cops kill an innocent person...they get reassigned...Kill a Cop and your sure to DIE....Here's the article
(Shouts to DaveyD @ www.DaveyD.com, who speaks and spreads the REAL)
So folks who don't know, here's whats going on.. Police terrorist committed a Sean Bell type murder on mother's day here in LA. They shot up a car filled with unarmed Black men after supposedly hearing gun-shots. Non of the passengers had a gun, committed a crime or shot anyone. The car was so riddled with bullets it look like swiss cheese. They showed the car on today's morning newscasts. This latest incident comes at the heels of a swarm of Philadelphia police beating down 3 men and the acquittal of NYPD officers who shot Sean Bell 50 times... Not sure what more can be said or done at this point, but it can't be business as usual. Davey D
Inglewood police fatally shoot passenger, wound driver
The officers reportedly believed they were under fire. A 19-year-old L.A. man is killed. Shots were heard but no one is charged.

Believing they were under fire, Inglewood police officers Sunday shot and killed a passenger in an approaching car and wounded the driver, but no weapons were found and no one has been charged, authorities said. The passenger was identified as 19-year-old Michael Byoune of Los Angeles, who died at the scene from gunshot wounds to the torso, said Los Angeles County coroner's investigator Jerry McKibben. The officers were in their patrol car near Crenshaw Boulevard and 8th Avenue about 1:40 a.m. when they heard gunfire and pursued a man who was running, said Inglewood Police Sgt. Hector Ramirez. The man jumped into a slow-moving car in the 3000 block of Manchester Boulevard, and the officers heard more shots and felt something hit their cruiser, Ramirez said. The officers then fired several shots as the vehicle came toward them, according to police. The driver is in stable condition with a leg wound, and a third man in the car was not injured. He was taken into custody, questioned and released, police said. Police Sgt. Dennis Brown later said the patrol car had not been hit by gunfire. Investigators initially indicated that the incident might have been gang-related, but later said the three men were not suspected gang members. At a small vigil for Byoune on Sunday night, his mother, Jackie Roberts, 55, said her son had never been to jail and was not involved in violence or gangs. "Right now it's Mother's Day. Last year on Mother's Day he was there for me. Now he's not here and I won't see him no more," she said. Other family members described Byoune as "a big teddy bear" and said they were confused over the shooting. At a Rally's restaurant at Crenshaw and Manchester boulevards, night manager Vidal Garcia said he "heard a lot of gunshots" and was surprised police didn't find any weapons "because there were gunshots before the cops even got there." Another Rally's employee, who feared getting involved and asked not to be identified, said from his vantage point he saw only the police taking out their guns. He and two co-workers ducked as soon as they heard gunfire, and after more than 15 shots, he heard screaming, he said. The employee said he recalled hearing "Oh, I can't breathe" and "I'm not armed." The restaurant is about 30 yards from where the police opened fire. A manager at the adjacent Big Lots discount store said police did not ask for tapes from the store's outside security cameras. Reached at her home, Inglewood Police Chief Jacqueline Seabrooks declined to discuss the shooting. "This is not the time to call," she said, adding that it was not a business day. In officer-involved shootings, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office sends a team to the scene, according to spokeswoman Jane Robison. The team, which includes a prosecutor and an investigator, "conducts a parallel investigation" to the police probe. If there are discrepancies between the findings, the district attorney's office investigates further, Robison said. Over the last decade, the Inglewood Police Department has been dogged by scandal, including a nationally publicized 2002 videotaped beating of a handcuffed teenager and 2006 allegations of on-duty officers committing rape. Last year, The Times reported that federal investigators were looking into allegations that at least six current or former Inglewood officers had received sexual services at local massage parlors. In 2002, Inglewood police arrested and handcuffed 16-year-old Donovan Jackson for failing to comply with orders. After the teenager was handcuffed, one of the officers picked him up and slammed him against a patrol car. The scene was captured on video, and national media compared the incident to the 1991 Rodney King beating by Los Angeles police. ari.bloomekatz@latimes.com julie.cart@latimes.com

A representative for Def Jam has confirmed to EW.com that hip-hop artist Nas has made an eleventh-hour decision to change the title of his new album from N----- to simply Nas. The Queens rapper sparked a heated debate last fall when he announced the provocative title for his upcoming ninth record, but last October, Island Def Jam Music Group chair Antonio "L.A." Reid publicly denied widespread reports that label execs were uncomfortable with his decision. "We stand firmly behind and beside our artists with pride and with pleasure," Reid told MTV News at the time. "Anything Nas wants to do, I completely stand beside him."
But in an interview with MTV News last week, Nas suggested that he was facing renewed pressure: "Everybody is trying to stop the title.... Record stores are gonna have a problem in this day and time selling a record with that title. Who knows what's gonna turn out and be on that title? Who knows what that title will be?" The politically-charged Nas is due in stores July 1. For more of Nas' thoughts on his new music, check EW's summer music preview coverage in print on Friday.
UPDATE: In a statement, Nas clarified that he considers his new album untitled, adding: "It's important to me that this album gets to the fans. It’s been a long time coming. I want my fans to know that, creatively and lyrically, they can expect the same content and the same messages. It's that important. The streets have been waiting for this for a long time. The people will always know what the real title of this album is and what to call it."

No Holds Bar--POLITICS 2008 pt.1
To give my readers an insight on what to expect from me. This is No Holds Bar new age writing, I will not spend time talking about myself, there are 100 million things that need to be heard other than my story even though my story is very interesting........This is facts, and opinions based on facts but NEVER A LIE...that is why I named my blog I SOLEMNLY SWEAR....Enough Introduction into what is REAL
This is my first blog entry to thee craziest topic on mass media at the moment POLITICS and the 2008 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS. I start this one today speaking on the REV. Wright Issue, his recent comments and Barack Obama's response.
Barack Obama today April 29, 2008 denounced his former Reverend of 20 years for comments he made at the NAACP 53rd fight for freedom fund dinner, and the National Press Club. As a Political Science major and a person who has dealt, experienced, and bonded with many different cultures I completly understand why Sen. Barack Obama denounced Rev. Wright today BUT!...I am not going to say that Rev. Wright was wrong in what he said. For all of the non-biased thinkers out there (I know your out there somewhere and I will find you!) You have to admit there is some reason behind Rev. Wrights comments, and I am not speaking about his infamous GD America speech (which if the whole sermon is listened to makes sense...if you are not closed minded)...but I am speaking about his comments saying that Barack Obama had to distince himself from the comments Wright said becuase he is a politician and he is running for the President of the United States...This is a true statement...again only this part is highlighted from the speech at the NAACP dinner and from the National Press Conference, when if you listen to the whole thing he is not saying Barack Obama denounced what he said soley becuase he is a politician and would agree with the comments on the low in "real life...(POINT)the man is saying that Barack Obama is running for President, he (Rev. Wright) is not, meaning he(Rev. Wright) is defending his church and his beliefs not running for Office...Barack Obama is running for President of the United States of America he (Barack Obama) has to look out for the best of the country...Rev. Wright is looking out for the best of the truth (according to what he believes) to be spoken.....Now I do feel that if they were truly friends and Rev. Wright knew and supported Obama to the fullest I think he would have re-worded or not said anything at all to the responses for Barack's sake...BUT! he is not going to Lie or hold his tounge back becuase of his belief and his belief is that (quoted right from Rev. Wright himself)"If it is God's Plan for Barack Obama to be President, then no pundit, nor remarks from a pastor can stop it"--CHUCH!
Now to explain why I completly understand why Barack Obama is upset and had no other choice but to denounce Rev. Wright today is due to the Political game (which is the most hardcore game out there especially when in Barack's position where you have to fight x2 becuase the people with power dont know if they can trust you so its like a midget playing rugbee with the N.Y. Giants). Barack Obama's timing could not have been better to run for office dispite Hillary's dismay (who also is a good canidate..do not get it twisted!..for the conspiracy theorists out there who think the shit(Government) is ALL fucked up, pick the side to win that could aid all of us more, pick your battles wisley!)....Barack's Hope stance is perfect for the timing that the Bush administration has fucked everything up royaly...if he did not take this stance he would not be in the race right now...think about if he would have taken a minority glorifying standpoint then he would have shut down from the door (i.e. Jesse Jackson's and Al Sharpton's frail attempts at the presidency)...and if he would have taken a Uncle Tom approach then then he be damned forever...why do you think Colin Powell hasen't ran for President?!?...This playing of the tightrope fence has never been played so graciously before. The closest resembelence I can think of from my knowledge is Jay-Z and how he has been the only rapper or musician that has been able to cross boundries and so many different music genres(hip-hop, rock with a whole album with Linkin Park, R&B Album with R. Kelly, etc.) and play the fence with the super critical "HOOD" and rap critics and with the super fickle POP culture. Hats off to both of these incredible people. MORE CREDIT Needs to be given to Barack for his grace and presence in this campaign, who even if he does not win, he still made HISTORY, he has broken down doors to rooms in buildings that cant be mapquested or googled becuase the buildings havent even been built yet!...Thats how serious this campaign and movement is and that is why I support it despite the bullshit!...This is blog is already too long I have too much say...Thank you to those who took the time to read....Many more on the way!
